Mark previously spent more than 15 years as a volunteer and organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation, the nation’s oldest and largest community organizing network, where he helped launch two community organizations: Action In Montgomery in the Washington, D.C. metro area and Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground. Mark began his career as an educator in Baton Rouge, La.
