An Organizing Alliance is a network of LEE members working alongside students, parents, and neighborhood leaders to make change in their communities. Organizing Alliances build relationships with community allies & engage in research to learn about the political landscape. They discern opportunities to make the biggest impact & mobilize in action to support equitable policies.
Organizing Alliances have had some big wins, like:

In Baltimore, LEE members got the school board to pull back the curtains on how the $1.34 billion budget is made.

In Washington, DC, LEE members kept 10 community schools open through their support of a $1.2 million funding allocation.

In Texas, LEE members saw an inequity surrounding the school-to-prison pipeline, and got the state to pass a law to rethink discipline policies for young kids.

In Louisiana, LEE members got a bill passed that bans public school teachers from paddling special needs students.
